Is AIOU Spring 2027 Admission Open Yet

No. AIOU Spring 2027 admission was not open when this guide was checked. The Spring 2027 schedule had not been announced as of 27 October 2026, and a fresh search on 3 November 2026 found no official Spring 2027 notice on the AIOU site. That does not mean the semester will not open. It means you should not act on a guessed date or pay a fee on the basis of a video or a post.

The last intake gives useful background. Autumn 2026 admissions closed on 6 October 2026, after an extension, and a late fee applied during the extension for the programmes in that notice. Spring 2026 new admissions ran until 25 February 2026, and entry tests for MS, MPhil and PhD applicants took place from 23 to 26 February 2026. Those were past dates. They do not prove when Spring 2027 will open or close.

Some third party pages show a start in January and a close in March for Spring 2027. Treat those pages with care. They are guesses based on past years. No AIOU Spring 2027 admission expected date is official yet. When AIOU posts the notice, it will name the real dates, the programmes on offer and the fee for each programme. Until then, watch aiou.edu.pk.

What the Academic Calendar Pattern Shows for AIOU Spring 2027 Admission

AIOU publishes a proposed academic calendar for open and distance learning. The calendar shows a pattern for a Spring semester. Admission runs from 1 January to 5 March. Mailing of books and material runs from 1 March to 15 May. The study period runs from 16 May to 30 August. Exams run from 1 September to 30 October. Results follow on 30 December. This is a proposed pattern. It is not the announced Spring 2027 schedule.

The pattern helps you plan your months, but AIOU can change dates for a semester. Most programmes run in both semesters, but some special programmes run in one semester only. The prospectus will make that clear.

AIOU Admission Requirements for Spring 2027

AIOU admission requirements differ by level. Matric, FA, Bachelor level, B.Ed, BS and postgraduate programmes each have their own entry rules. The prospectus for Spring 2027 will list the exact requirement for each programme. Read that list before you pay any fee. If you do not meet the requirement for a programme, choose a programme that fits your last qualification.

In past cycles, students needed a CNIC, academic certificates, photographs and a fee challan to apply. Keep clean scans ready. Your name and date of birth on the form should match your CNIC and your last certificate. Keep your own mobile number and email on the form, because AIOU sends updates to the contact details you give. Wait for the AIOU prospectus Spring 2027 notice before you trust any fee list, because a fee can change from one semester to the next.

How to Apply for AIOU Spring 2027 Admission

The steps below follow the normal online route used in past cycles. The exact screens can change a little when AIOU posts the new notice. If you are new to the AIOU apply online system, go slow and check each screen before you move on.

1. Open aiou.edu.pk and find the online admission link. For fresh admission, use aiou.edu.pk/oas-fresh-admission.
2. Read the Spring 2027 notice and prospectus first. Note the opening date, the closing date and the fee for your programme.
3. Create your student account if you are new. Use your own CNIC, mobile number and email.
4. Select your programme and courses. Check the course codes with care.
5. Fill in your personal and academic details to match your documents.
6. Upload clear scans of your documents. Check that each file opens and is easy to read.
7. Generate your fee challan. Note the challan number and the last date to pay it.
8. Pay the fee through the channel named on the challan. Keep proof of payment safe.
9. Upload proof of payment if the portal asks for it, then submit the form and save your application number.

Do not pay the same challan twice. If a payment goes through but the portal does not show it, keep your proof and contact the helpline on 051-111-112-468, or write to adms@aiou.edu.pk. Keep your application number ready when you call or write.

The AIOU Fee Structure for Spring 2027

The AIOU fee structure for Spring 2027 will be in the official prospectus when admissions open. This guide does not list a fee for Spring 2027, because AIOU had not published the Spring 2027 prospectus at the time of writing. When you pay, use only the challan the portal makes for you. Do not pay into a personal account or on the word of an agent. For help with the payment step, read our guide on how to pay the AIOU fee online.

After You Apply: Confirmation and Next Steps

After you submit the form and pay the fee, AIOU checks your application. Confirmation can take time, so do not panic if it does not come on the same day. Our guide on how to check AIOU admission confirmation shows the checks students use after they apply.

Books and material follow the mailing plan in the calendar, and assignments follow the schedule for your semester. To see how the last semester set its dates, read our guide on the AIOU assignment submission schedule for Autumn 2026. Spring 2027 will have its own assignment schedule, so do not use Autumn dates for Spring work. When your admission is confirmed, you can use AIOU solved assignments samples to learn how good answers are set out. Use samples to learn, and write your own answers in your own words. Copied work can lead to a fail or a case against you, so honest work is the safe path.

What Is the AIOU Spring 2027 Admission Last Date

There is no official AIOU Spring 2027 admission last date yet. The last date will appear in the Spring 2027 notice and prospectus. Check aiou.edu.pk often as January nears, and apply early in the window. Early applicants have more time to fix a document error or a payment issue. Do not plan for an extension, because extensions are not a promise.

Can I Apply for More Than One Programme

Read the Spring 2027 prospectus for the rule that applies to your case. In past cycles, students applied for one programme at a time through the fresh admission portal. Do not submit two fresh forms for two programmes without checking the rule, because a second form can cause confusion in your record. Compare the entry requirement, the fee, the course list and the time you can give each week, then choose the programme that fits your goal.

How Do I Know a Notice Is Real

A real notice lives on aiou.edu.pk. It names the semester, the programmes, the dates and the fee, and it links to the prospectus. A fake notice often lives only on social media and asks you to pay through a private number. If you are unsure, open aiou.edu.pk yourself and search for the notice, or call the helpline.

To close, AIOU Spring 2027 admission is not open yet, and no Spring 2027 dates are official. Get ready now, watch the official site, and apply early when the notice comes out.
